As a Cyber Engineer II, you will function as a key contributor for the Integrated Strategic Solutions Engineering team, developing solutions to secure the warfighter’s technology advantage. Responsibilities include operating system administration, security architecture work, RMF documentation, STIG maintenance, vulnerability scanning, and cyber requirement development.
Responsibilities- Provide Windows and Unix operating system administration.
- Work with security architecture.
- Support development of RMF documents and controls validation testing for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditations.
- Maintain the latest version/revision of each Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs).
- Coordinate with other Subject Matter Experts (SME) to complete the STIG templates (e.g., Network Switch, Database, OS).
- Perform routine and ad‑hoc scans using the ACAS application.
- Support development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies.
- Degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable Secret clearance prior to start date with ability to obtain Top Secret after start.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and implementation of DoD and Federal IA certification and accreditation processes, IA controls and associated documentation.
- Experience using vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Security Center, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker/Tools.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
- DoDI 8570.01‑M IAT Level‑II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP or equivalent).

Salary: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (estimated range based on experience level).
