• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify identities of visitors.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual and concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Prior security, military, law enforcement experience is a plus.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Available to work holidays.
• Can obtain/maintain an Iowa Security License through the Iowa Department of Public and Safety. Garda World will pay and help obtain the license.
