Site Security, Security Officer
Purpose:
The Security Officer will participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Primary Duties:- Answer main phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Monitor radio traffic and surveillance equipment
- Implement applicable emergency policies and programs
- Monitor and regulate inbound and outbound pedestrian and truck traffic
- Conduct regular inspection rounds in accordance with company policies
- Handle outbound express mail and distribute internal mail as needed
- Open and close confined space entry permits
- Maintain accurate departmental written records and reports
- Any other duties as assigned
Team members must possess good communication and computer skills in order to:
- Process pick ups and deliveries within the facility.
- Monitor/control access in and out of the facility with a variety of systems.
- Assist with emergencies.
- Conduct rounds, answer phones, and communicate with a variety of departments and personnel on a daily basis.
- Complete necessary documentation/reporting on a daily basis.
- 1 Full-time opening for 1st shift 7 am- 3 pm
- Pay starts at $17/hour
- High School Diploma or equivalent; as well as 1 year of security-related experience and/or training
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
