Millwright Journeyman

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Millwright Journeyman that will be responsible for dismantling, erecting, assembling, aligning, adjusting, and/or maintaining machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

* Dismantle and assemble machines using hand and power tools

* Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks

* Align machines and equipment using various tools and instruments

* Operate cranes, forklifts, hoists, lift trucks, and other equipment

* Install and maintain lubrication systems on machines

* Handle major components during offloading and installation

* Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or GED

* Minimum three (3) years of related experience

* Current driver's license

* Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; detail-oriented with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills

* Strong teamwork orientation with active listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input and feedback

* Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements

* * Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

The base pay range for this role is $36.70 per hour. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C.

- 12.5%).
