Landscape Installer; Construction

LANDMARK is a leading landscape and hardscaping company in the Greater Cedar Rapids & Iowa City area. We’re passionate about creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for our clients, and we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Landscape Installer to join our team!

As a key member of our Landscape Construction Division, you'll be involved in all aspects of landscape installation. This includes bringing designs to life by:

Constructing hardscapes: You'll build patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features using various materials like pavers, natural stone, and concrete.

Installing softscapes: You'll plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and install sod to create lush and vibrant landscapes.

Implementing irrigation systems: You'll install irrigation systems to ensure the health and beauty of our clients' landscapes.

But it's more than just building! You'll also be responsible for:

Site preparation: This includes grading, excavating, and ensuring proper drainage.

Material handling: Loading, unloading, and moving materials around the job site.

Equipment operation: Operating various equipment like skid steers, mini excavators, and other tools.

Snow and Ice Events: This position is expected to remain continuously on‑call for snow/ice events beginning each November and continuing through the month of March, including nights, weekends & holidays.
Shift premium of $7.50/ hour applies to all snow/ice events

We're looking for someone who is passionate about landscaping and has a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you have:

1+ years of experience in landscape installation (preferred)

Knowledge of hardscaping techniques, plant installation, and basic construction principles (preferred)

A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must be at least 18 years old

Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling & squatting and able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs;
Excellent stamina is required

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
