As a Facilities Mechanic, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our building, systems, and grounds running safely and smoothly. This hands‑on position supports daily operations, responds to facility needs, and contributes to the reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of our Cedar Rapids site.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to facility requests through Service Now and SAP CMMS.
  • Perform inspections of the facility and grounds; complete minor repairs or elevate to facility engineers when needed.
  • Coordinate and assist with grounds maintenance activities.
  • Support function and event set‑ups, including preparing patios, furniture, and display areas.
  • Respond to facility‑related emergencies.
  • Support facility‑team projects including compliance, renovations, staff moves, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper hazardous material handling and compliance with safety procedures including LOTO, fall protection, NFPA 70E, and applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Operate powered equipment such as man lifts, forklifts, and UTVs.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, production teams, engineering, safety, and outside contractors.

We value our employees by providing:

  • Competitive compensation based on skills
  • Industry leading health, dental, and vision plans
  • Generous 401 (K) savings and profit sharing
  • On‑site, fitness center, and walking paths
  • Education assistance and internal training programs
  • Electric vehicle charging
