Delivery Helper

Job Summary

Hub Group is looking for an experienced full‑time Delivery Helper to assist in the delivery and installation of built‑in appliances for our nationally known client(s). Must have 6+ months of appliance installation experience. Examples of appliances installed: refrigerators, freezers, ranges, microwave ovens, dishwashers, trash compactors, washers & dryers, and other home appliances.

Monday through Friday 5:30 am until end of route. If no route, candidate will work in the warehouse until 2 p.

$16.42/hr

• Provide knowledgeable, courteous, and professional customer service while remaining customer‑oriented and consistently exceeding customer expectations in every home entered.
• Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances.
• Safely travel in an efficient manner to installation calls on a scheduled route.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, and a clean professional appearance.
• Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, laundry, etc.
• Consistently adhere to company policies across all areas, including safety procedures, customer interaction guidelines, and operational protocols.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs independently and up to 100–600 lbs with the assistance of an appliance dolly and straps.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Understanding of basic electric and plumbing principles for problem solving.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Must have 6+ months work experience as an appliance installer.
• Must have previous experience with an appliance dolly and straps.
• Maintain a pleasant, polite, and professional demeanor when interacting with co‑workers and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
