The field technician is responsible for installing/servicing all products and systems sold by Inteconnex. They occasionally work alone and manage their daily task load to meet installation deadlines and maintain professionalism. The field technician will be in front of customers and must present a positive and competent attitude toward all site staff. This position participates in the on‑call rotation.
Essential Functions- Pull cabling and mount devices
- Ensure all devices are installed where designated
- Ensure all programming is complete before leaving site
- Keep sales informed if changes to scope are required
- Maintain up‑to‑date training on core product lines and installation techniques
- Participate in the on‑call rotation
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager

Lead-level field personnel will monitor and manage onsite labor to deliver projects on time and as designed.
Work Environment / Physical DemandsThis job operates in a multitude of locations, including new construction sites, schools, offices, and factory environments, often in various weather conditions outdoors and indoors. Duties may require long hours to get the job accomplished. The employee must occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear.
The employee may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 100 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED
Compensation is commensurate with experience and relevant certifications. Relocation for any position offered is at the discretion of the hiring manager. Applicants must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening, background screening, and motor vehicle report with favorable results to be considered for employment.
