Road Technician

Road Mechanic

This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime. The fleet includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools and equipment, large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas).
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; 21 years of age and CDL license may be required in some locations.

• Ability to provide mechanic's tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

Base Pay Range: $26.46 – $36.37 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
