The Hydraulic Hose Service & Sales Technician is responsible for servicing, assembling, and installing hydraulic and industrial hoses for a diverse customer base. The role involves manual labor, on‑call hours (with incentive pay), and requires dedication and physical stamina.

• Adhere to all industry and PIRTEK safety standards.
• Carry out service calls and sales visits within the local territory.
• Identify faulty hoses or hose assemblies and assess customer needs.
• Remove worn or broken hoses and fabricate and install new replacements.
• Clean or contain oil spills and environmental contaminants to customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Enter service details into the online database to generate accurate invoices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain the mobile service unit, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on‑site and conducting follow‑up visits.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule with increased incentive pay.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Operate from a mobile service unit located at a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center.
• Work in territory‑based service areas with varying terrain, noise levels, temperatures, and available amenities.
• Frequently handle oil, grease, lubricants, and other messy substances.
• Travel may be required for training initiatives at no cost to the technician.

• Perform sit, stand, kneel, bend, and stoop tasks for extended periods.
• Use ladders, step‑ups, stairs, and other equipment safely.
• Show mechanical inclination and proficiency with hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Navigate customer objections to identify needs and close sales.
• Maintain a self‑motivated and positive attitude during challenging work.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate and legally drive a large work van.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in industrial development, construction, automotive, marine, or field mechanics is a plus.
• Pass a background check.
