Location: West Cedar Rapids
City of Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an Automotive Equipment Mechanic I to maintain and repair city vehicles and equipment. Duties include engine work, diagnostics, and system repairs, with a focus on safety and reliable service.
Position operates on 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, with progression through hourly pay steps. Requires CDL-B with air brakes and EPA 609 certification, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.
