Trillium Construction is seeking Iowa licensed journeyman electricians (Class A or Class

B) for a Walmart remodel project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This is a great opportunity for experienced commercial electricians looking for steady work on a large-scale retail renovation.

Project Details:

• Start Date:
  
  July 26
• Duration:
  Approximately 16-18 weeks
• Pay:
  Up to $55/hour, depending on experience
• Per Diem: $120/day, paid 7 days per week for qualified travelers
• Shift: Night Shift, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, overtime may be available

Job Duties:

• Install, bend, and run EMT conduit
• Rewire existing electrical systems
• Replace and upgrade lighting fixtures with LED lighting
• Perform electrical work as part of an active Walmart remodel
• Work safely from aerial lifts and elevated platforms
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and electrical codes

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Class A or Class B journeyman electrical license (required)
• Commercial electrical experience required
• Experience with big box retail remodels is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
