The City of Cedar Rapids seeks an Automotive Equipment Mechanic I to maintain and repair the transit fleet. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient city transportation with a new overnight schedule from 11:30pm to 7:30am, Sunday through Friday.
A high school diploma and 1–3 years of journeyman auto experience are required, plus relevant licenses and certifications. This position is part of the Transit Department and includes union benefits.
