Alliant Energy is seeking an Apprentice/Journey line mechanic to construct, maintain and repair electric facilities in a safe, efficient manner. Responsibilities include installing conductors, climbing poles and operating specialized equipment to restore service as needed.
Candidates must have completed a line mechanic apprenticeship and be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License by the end of the trial period. DOT drug/alcohol testing applies; strong safety and teamwork are required.
