Trillium Construction is seeking Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electricians (Class A or Class
B) for a commercial big box remodel project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Per diem and completion bonus available!
This is a great opportunity for experienced commercial electricians looking for steady work on a large-scale retail renovation.
Project Details

- Duration:
Approximately 16-18 weeks
- Pay:
Up to $65/hour, Licensed A or B Iowa license
- Pay for Unclassified Electricians would be up to $40/hour
- Per Diem: $110/day, paid 7 days per week for qualified travelers
- Completion bonus of $5000 - Shift: Night Shift, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, Overtime may be available
Job Duties
- Install, bend, and run EMT conduit
- Rewire existing electrical systems
- Replace and upgrade lighting fixtures with LED lighting
- Perform electrical work as part of an active Walmart remodel
- Work safely from aerial lifts and elevated platforms
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and electrical codes

Qualifications
- Valid Iowa Class A or Class B Journeyman Electrical License (required) - Commercial electrical experience required
- Experience with big box retail remodels is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
