Traveling Millwright – $30+/hr + Overtime

Looking for steady travel work, strong overtime, and long-term career opportunities? We're hiring Traveling Millwrights to install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment across the country. This is a great fit for candidates with millwright, mechanical, maintenance, construction, or conveyor installation experience.

• Install and assemble industrial equipment and conveyor systems
• Perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Read blueprints and shop drawings
• Work with motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, and mechanical systems
• Complete equipment alignment, rigging, and installation tasks
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Travel to industrial and agricultural facilities nationwide

• 2+ years of millwright, mechanical, maintenance, or conveyor installation experience
• Experience installing or working on conveyor systems
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working at heights
• Willingness to travel 100%

• Welding or fabrication experience
• Rigging experience
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Hydraulics, piping, or pipe fitting experience
• Grain elevator, ethanol plant, or agricultural industry experience
• MIG, TIG, or Stick welding experience

• $30+/hr starting pay with advancement opportunities
• Up to 20+ hours of overtime per week
• Double-time pay on Sundays

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CEDAR RAPIDS, IA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
