Fiber Installation Technician
Looking for a hands-on career in the fast-growing telecommunications and data infrastructure industry? We are hiring Fiber Installation Technicians to support large-scale fiber optic installation projects.

Responsibilities- Install and route fiber optic cable through conduit, innerduct, and pathway systems
- Pull and secure fiber cable through underground and aerial pathways
- Read and interpret blueprints, cable maps, diagrams, and construction drawings
- Maintain proper cable management and installation standards, including bend radius requirements
- Label, organize, and document completed installation work
- Collaborate with project teams to complete projects on schedule
- Follow all safety procedures, site requirements, and quality standards
- Assist with pathway installation and technology infrastructure buildout projects
- At least 1 year of experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, low-voltage, electrical, or construction work
- Experience pulling and routing fiber optic cable preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and installation drawings
- Knowledge of conduit, innerduct, and cable pathway systems
- Comfortable working in construction environments and confined spaces
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Full-time position
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Overtime available based on project demands

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $93600.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
