- 3+ years experience in carpentry or construction experience
- Willingness to learn; ability to follow direction closely.
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- This position is intermediate level, performing physically demanding and high risk work, often working a great heights, outdoors in all weather conditions at construction projects.
- Service Carpenters are responsible for working with finishing material such as trim, wall panels, and repairing metal structures and roofs.
- This position is also responsible for working with exterior doors, completing miscellaneous demolition work, paving and concrete jobs, as well as remodel work.
- As a result, this position must wear safety harnesses to reduce the risk of falling anytime while operating any personal lift or while on any roof surface or deck.
- The ideal candidate should be well rounded in various areas of commercial construction.
- This position could require occasional overnight stays while working on projects which are out of town.
