3+ years experience in carpentry or construction experience
Willingness to learn; ability to follow direction closely.
Must possess a valid drivers license
Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
This position is intermediate level, performing physically demanding and high risk work, often working a great heights, outdoors in all weather conditions at construction projects. Service Carpentersare responsible for working with finishing material such as trim, wall panels, and repairing metal structures and roofs. This position is also responsible for working with exterior doors, completing miscellaneous demolition work, paving and concrete jobs, as well as remodel work.
As a result, this position must wear safety harnesses to reduce the risk of falling anytime while operating any personal lift or while on any roof surface or deck. The ideal candidate should be well rounded in various areas of commercial construction. This position could require occasional overnight stays while working on projects which are out of town.
