Telecoms Engineering, Installation Technician, Construction Manager/ Foreman
LINX is hiring a Low Voltage Lead Technician to run crews of 5 or more technicians on hyperscale data center cabling projects, paying $28.00 to $35.00 an hour. If you have experience leading crews of low voltage technicians and giving them their daily duties, this is the role for you.
This is a working lead role, not a desk job. You're still terminating cable and running Fluke tests alongside your crew, but you're also the one setting the day’s goals, tracking progress, and answering to the Project Foreman and Project Superintendent when the schedule is on the line. LINX builds structured cabling infrastructure inside hyperscale data centers and mission critical facilities, and this role is a direct step on the path to Foreman and Superintendent.

Account & Customer Coordination
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for account coordination, including direct customer interaction and issue resolution
- Prepare and communicate status reports that keep customers and the Project Manager informed in real time
Quality, Safety & Documentation
- Maintain technical, quality, and profitability standards on every project to ensure top level customer satisfaction
- Keep accurate, efficient timesheets and job documentation

- Must own a complete set of personal low voltage hand tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches); specialty tools provided
- Ability to lift, carry, and set up a 50 pound box or ladder
- Available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, overtime, and under deadline pressure as hyperscale project schedules require
