Community Based Intern

Tanager values the influential experience a student can acquire during an internship. The skills learned can be applied to future positions and hopefully throughout a career. These real-world experiences enable a student to apply what they have learned into action. Tanager is proud to offer internships to students looking to pursue a professional placement in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Family Therapy.

Bachelor's Level Internships:
We are currently accepting applications for unpaid internship placement in our Community Based BHIS Program. (Behavioral Health Intervention Services). As a Community Based Intern you will have opportunities to work directly with children and families providing skill based services to address their mental health diagnosis. These services take place primarily in the community/home environment. Tanager provides interns with opportunities to engage in trainings at our agency and in the community, attend community meetings and groups, and experience the processes, procedures, and standards that we have in place.
