ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assure the safety of children crossing street intersections at designated crossing areas.
• Must wear City provided safety vest and carry provided STOP sign during all shifts.

• Must complete required training course and pass quiz before beginning employment.
• Willingness to assume responsibility.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with young people.
• Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
• Regular attendance.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. This would include vehicle traffic and residential equipment noise levels.
