Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Active Secret; Onsite

Senior Dev Sec Ops  Software Engineer – Collistr Aerospace – Cedar Rapids, IA
We’re looking for a highly experienced Dev Sec Ops  engineer to build resilient, high‑performance networks for military and government systems, including UAVs, fighter jets, aircraft carriers, and ground vehicles.

• Develop Dev Sec Ops  pipelines for embedded systems in air‑gapped environments.
• Integrate tooling, applications, and scripts into the development pipeline.
• Participate in selecting Dev Sec Ops  technologies to enable automation for product development teams.
• Develop applications and scripts to support integration of software updates, including automation of testing, deployment, and software artifact generation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product development teams in an agile (SAFe) environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced degree with a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
• Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required on day one.
• Proficient programming experience in Bash and Python for scripting and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Git version control (e.g., Bit Bucket, Git Lab) in collaborative development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar) for building, testing, and deploying software.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, including scripting, configuration, and software deployment.
• Familiarity with software artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory or equivalents.

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and IaC tools (Terraform).
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (Grafana) and RESTful API integration.
• Strong Linux and application administration skills with knowledge of software development lifecycle practices.
• Programming experience in C, C++, and Java, including multi‑threaded embedded application software and communication systems.
• Knowledge of IP networking, networking protocols, and experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience working in Agile team environments and strong collaboration skills.
