Join Collins Aerospace’s Mission Systems team as a Software Engineer I to design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software solutions. Work in collaborative teams across hardware, systems, and FPGA engineering.

• Develop new and innovative products for customers’ missions.
• Confront complex and interesting problem domains.
• Write and test software using Rust, C++, and Python.
• Implement and test software solutions to positively impact the team.
• Learn about cryptography, waveform & networking protocols, embedded devices, Dev Sec Ops , command & control, and project engineering.

• Work with an agile team.
• Experience the full software development lifecycle.
• Advance toward becoming a subject matter expert.

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance; only U.S. citizens eligible for clearance.
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.

• Comfortable working with C, C++, Rust, Python and/or Linux.
• Experience coding in an embedded environment.
• Security‑focused mindset.
