Software Engineer II – APNT (Onsite)
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain real‑time embedded navigation and timing solutions for military ground, airborne, and maritime applications.
Responsibilities- Analyze requirements, design architecture, and implement software for embedded systems.
- Develop, integrate, and verify embedded‑hardware and software components.
- Produce documentation required for security certification and project tracking.
- Create software tools and support field demonstration efforts.
- Provide customer support and mentor junior engineers.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
- Capability to obtain or possess an active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong motivation to solve problems and continuously improve products.
- Experience with software requirements, architectural design, and functional decomposition.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience with embedded hardware and real‑time operating systems.
- Proficiency with Eclipse, Jira, and Jama.
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, Ada, or similar embedded languages.
- Python scripting for test automation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and interest in Scrum Master responsibilities.
- Knowledge of communication systems, message handling, digital signal processing, or Kalman filtering.

Salary Range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD
