Senior Engineer, Software Engineering – Cabin Management System

Responsibilities- Engage in all stages of the product development life cycle for the Cabin Management system.
- Lead execution across the life cycle from requirements capture through development and verification testing of multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Design and implement build procedures that support hardware and software product development.
- Design, develop, document, and test control and diagnostic systems that include logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Determine end‑user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
- Innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub‑systems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions.
- Ensure hardware and software standards are met.
- Ensure novel ideas and implementation are captured and protected using IP processes and tools.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or a related position with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or 3 years of experience with a master’s degree (or equivalent) in the same disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience performing software development, integration, and testing of aircraft lighting, audio/video, or cabin management systems.
- At least 1 year of experience with markup languages such as HTML or XML, databases such as SQL, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- At least 1 year of experience working with aircraft cabin management systems or the in‑flight entertainment systems development life cycle.
- Non‑U.S. persons must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. The company will not provide immigration sponsorship or seek export authorization for this role.
Salary range: $133,494 to $165,200 per year.
