Job Overview

Senior Software Engineer – Dev Sec Ops , on‑site, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Join Collins Aerospace’s Digital Engineering Methods team to drive the development and enhancement of our Cert Dev Ops pipeline.

• Design and implement new capabilities for the Cert Dev Ops pipeline.
• Optimize existing pipeline capabilities.
• Set up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development.
• Track progress and coordinate with engineering peers, leadership, and customers.
• Communicate status and decisions effectively.
• Apply problem‑solving, decision‑making, and teamwork skills to support team mission.

• Degree in STEM or an advanced degree with 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with all phases of the software engineering product lifecycle, including certification.
• Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Programming in C/C++ or Ada.
• Experience with Git Lab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista.
• Knowledge of Python, Robot, Lava scripting.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and IT infrastructure.
• Agile development life cycle and best practices.

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
