Job Description A leading aerospace and advanced engineering organization is seeking a Generative AI Software Engineer to join an innovation-focused research and development team. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who has applied Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI through professional work or personal projects and is excited to help shape next-generation technologies.

The team focuses on developing transformative engineering processes and technology solutions that improve development efficiency, reduce lifecycle costs, minimize technical debt, and increase reuse across complex engineering programs. You will design, develop, and evaluate Generative AI solutions that support cutting-edge, safety-critical development initiatives.

This is an on-site position located in Iowa.

• Strong software development experience and engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Python development.
• Proficiency working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Demonstrated success contributing to the development of complex systems.
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals through academic research, personal projects, or professional experience.
• Experience deploying Generative AI-powered applications.
• Experience with large language model development frameworks such as Lang Chain or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to larger audiences.
• Must be authorized to meet applicable U.S. person requirements for the program.

• Personal or professional experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience with Lang Chain.
