• Work with other engineers on projects where you will have the opportunity to support the following types of systems work:
• Update systems level requirements/design documents Define and update input/output data for the system
• Support system level verification activities
• Enhance and/or create tools that aid systems engineering tasks
• Investigate and help develop new and emerging avionics technologies

• How to create and deliver various types of presentations
• Basic to advanced scripting and coding capabilities
• How to create more effective documentation
• Working in a collaborative team environment

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Ability to work onsite during the internship.

• A passion for avionics
• A pilot's license
• Basic experience with Python or other scripting language
• Demonstrates good communication skills
• Self‑starter who works well independently

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
