Hiring Incentive

College Community Schools is offering a new hiring bonus of $500 for new bus drivers hired after June 1, 2026 for the  school year.

  • The hiring bonus will be paid in two (2) $250 installments:
    • The first $250 will be received after completing 60 working days
    • The second $250 payment will be made after 90 working days.
  • Starting hourly wage: $24.35/hr.
Hourly Wage and Additional Benefits
  • Starting Hourly Wage: $24.35 per hour based on prior experience - Bus Drivers
    • Up to 10 years previous experience as a bus driver given towards placement on the salary schedule
    • Paid training and holidays
  • Optional additional benefits
  • IPERS
  • Confidential criminal history and drug testing are required
  • Must have acceptable driving record
Hours

Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
