Can Shed is looking for a dependable
Swap Driver to join our Transportation Team. You'll play a critical role in keeping Iowa's recycling network moving by exchanging trailers between customer locations and our facilities while working with a team that values safety, reliability, and customer service.

Position: Swap Driver (Class A CDL)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Saturday | Approximately 30-35 hours per week

Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

• Safely transport and swap trailers throughout our service area.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers when needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery and transportation documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding route changes and customer needs.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next day's work.
• Represent Can Shed professionally with customers and business partners.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment to safety and customer service

• Lift up to 60 pounds regularly
• Climb in and out of tractor/trailer throughout the day
• Load and unload trailers when required
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
