As a Representative and Champion for Airgas, the Warehouse & Delivery Associate ensures the safe, efficient, and precise management of materials from the warehouse floor directly to our customers' doors. Operating out of an Airgas facility in a hybrid capacity, you will bridge internal logistics and direct-to-customer service—handling everything from high-accuracy inventory control and material movement to route deliveries using commercial vehicles.

In this role, your operational skills will directly support vital regional infrastructure and healthcare partners. As a Warehouse & Delivery Associate at Airgas, you will be part of a supportive professional team that encourages your personal growth and internal mobility (with potential pathing into future leadership or sales roles), while ensuring you have the predictable daytime hours and work/life balance you need to thrive.

• Warehouse & Inventory Logistics:
  Serve in a role structured around a 70% warehouse and 30% relief driver split. Coordinate inventory, harmonize shipping and receiving, and maintain a seamless logistics flow. Receive, label, stock, and organize incoming industrial gases, supplies, and hard-goods while conducting regular inventory audits to ensure total inventory accuracy.
• Equipment & Fleet Operations:
  Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to manage dock stock and load/unload service trucks. Operate commercial motor vehicles to execute timely route deliveries of atmospheric and flammable gases.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Consistently observe company safety protocols (SOPs), wear required PPE, and comply with all federal, state, local, and DOT regulations. Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance defects immediately.

  Bring a strong service orientation, collaborative mindset, and operational insight to every interaction. Ensure complete and accurate delivery documentation (manifests, receipts, and load counts) while delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships across all daily routes.

• Valid Class A or B with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
• Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

• 2+ years of prior experience in warehouse operations or warehouse maintenance.
• Prior experience operating a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity or working knowledge of SAP and PROS software.
