What is the Position?Parts Badger is seeking a Senior Analyst to keep our books accurate and our reporting sharp. Think of this role as a Controller-in-training — you will handle core accounting work, own key reconciliations, and help drive the month-end close.
You will work closely with Operations and Finance to turn transactional data into clear, useful information. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

Parts Badger is a relaxed, casual work environment located in Cedarburg, WI. We are ITAR registered and hold AS9100 and ISO
9001:2015 certifications. Our 15,000 sq. ft. facility blends office and production space. We offer fully stocked snack/beverage rooms, free daily lunches, and a 5-hole disc golf course. We continue to develop our space for idea generation and collaborative work.
Day to Day
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, inventory, and prepaid accounts
- Manage daily cash position and weekly cash forecasts
- Analyze job costs, spending, and margins for Operations
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain documentation for accounting processes and controls
- Own assigned sections of the month-end close checklist
Strategic
- Build and provide financial reports and dashboards for leadership
- Prepare audit schedules and support requests from outside CPAs
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
- Identify and support process and system improvements that can make the Finance department more efficient and accurate.
- 3+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid understanding of GAAP, journal entries, and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage deadlines
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
