Architectural Designer

We are seeking a talented person with experience in both commercial and residential design. This is a full-time position. Work will be performed primarily on-site in our Wisconsin offices.

• Develop beautiful, sustainable, and innovative design solutions through all phases of a project, from concept through construction.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams in research, design, selection, and specification.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and specifications to support design and construction.
• Participate in on-going learning activities and seminars that deepen our understanding of the built world.

• 3+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in both commercial and residential design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or equivalent
• Licensure, NCARB certification preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, as well as with a team
• Understanding of commercial & residential building codes and regulations
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects
• Working knowledge of sustainable practices & materials
• Software:
  • Familiarity with both 2D CAD and 3D modeling software (Vectorworks and Sketchup preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience with Revit (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (preferred, but not required)
