Position: Cedarburg Substitute Teacher / Para educator
** We are hiring substitute teachers and substitute para educators for Cedarburg School District.*
* No previous experience is required!

* +  
** Substitute Teacher**  - Associate's degree in any field  
** AND
* * WI Substitute License or Valid WI Teaching License

+ We will walk you through how to apply for a Substitute License if you do not already have one.

+  
** Substitute Para educator*
* -HS Diploma/GED

+  
** Substitute Special Education Para educator**  **
- ** WI Special Education Aide License, valid WI Substitute License OR a teaching certificate

+ We will walk you through how to apply for a Special Education Aide License if you do not already have a valid license (a general sub license will cover this position as well).

** Pay rates:*
* + Substitute Teacher: $135/per day

+ Substitute Para educator: $14-$17/hr.

** Teacher Responsibilities*
* + Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.

+ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

+ Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.

+ Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies

+ Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation

+ For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.

** Para educator Responsibilities*
* + Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.

Substitute para educators may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
