Job DescriptionThe Electrician is responsible for the electrical assembly, wiring, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of skid-mounted pump systems and related industrial equipment. This position requires a licensed Journeyman Electrician with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical schematics, control panels, motor controls, instrumentation, and industrial wiring practices.
Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, the Electrician ensures each skid-mounted system is assembled safely, accurately, and in full compliance with NEC requirements, customer specifications, and company quality standards. Responsibilities include installing and terminating electrical components, verifying proper system operation through testing and troubleshooting, and identifying and resolving electrical issues during the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial assembly environment. Strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications- State Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent where applicable)
- 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics, one‑line diagrams, and control drawings
- 480V 3‑phase power systems
- Motor controls
- VFDs
- PLC I/O and instrumentation
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- OSHA safety awareness (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Manufacturing equipment maintenance
- Pumps, motors, MCCs, and control panels
- Preventive maintenance programs
- Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting
