1st shift Shipping​/Receiving Clerk and Distribution

Our client, a leading distribution and logistics organization, is seeking a dedicated 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Distribution to join their team. As a vital member of the distribution department, you will support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Job Title: 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Distribution

Location: Cedarburg, WI

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Perform shipping and receiving functions, including preparing and dispatching parcels using Fed Ex, UPS, and other shipping portals
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counting, and stock replenishment to ensure accuracy and availability
• Unload trucks and handle materials efficiently, maintaining safety and organization standards
• Utilize Voice/RF devices for precise tracking and location of inventory items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment adhering to all regulatory standards

What's Needed?

• Some parcel shipping experience, including familiarity with Fed Ex and UPS portals
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to read and interpret customer order requirements and apply basic math skills
• Certification for forklift and pallet jack operation is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
