We are seeking a dedicated Mobile MRI Technologist to provide essential scanning services and support to our talented team members in the field. As a seasoned technologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient satisfaction and ensuring operational excellence in a mobile imaging healthcare environment. This position offers the opportunity to perform Clinical Competencies and Team Member evaluations once internal milestones are achieved, alongside providing scanning coverage across various locations in the region.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality diagnostic images while providing scanning coverage at designated customer sites and ensure patient safety by conducting thorough pre-screening for contraindications and employing aseptic injection techniques.
Collaborate closely with local Account Development Directors (ADDs) to effectively communicate with physician groups, Radiology and Clinic Directors, and Radiologists regarding MRI software, scanning protocols, and quality assurance.
Troubleshoot MRI scanners and related peripheral equipment (such as monitors, PACS, and coils) and provide coaching to team members as needed.
Support the Sales team with new business initiatives and assist with startup activities when required.
Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure operational success.
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as an MRI Technologist, particularly in Nuclear Medicine procedures, within high-pressure environments with frequent patient satisfaction ratings.
Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively across all organizational levels and the ability to adapt to new settings quickly.
Flexibility to work at multiple locations as required.
Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in basic computer applications and programs.
Valid ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), or ARMRIT certification as applicable.
State licensure, where required.
Current CPR certification.
A valid state driver's license may be necessary.
Willingness to travel locally up to 90% of the time.
This position may expose the employee to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, strong magnetic fields, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. The following physical capabilities are necessary:
More than 50% of the time:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk.
Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs.
Excellent vision, speech, and hearing abilities for effective communication with patients.
Less than 50% of the time:
Stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Climb and balance.
Capable of lifting and carrying to assist in moving non-ambulatory patients from sitting or lying positions as needed.
