Sr Accounting Associate (Project Hire)
The Senior Accounting Associate's primary role is to provide various accounting and research support for the Payment Center of Excellence team.
Project Hire Assignment:
This position is a temporary Project Hire assignment expected to last approximately twelve (12) months. Employment is intended to support a specific business need for a limited duration and there is no guarantee of extension, conversion, or placement into a regular full-time position at the conclusion of the assignment. This role is responsible for the following:
Accounting
- Month end journal entries and account reconciliations
- Daily monitoring for suspended transactions
- Transaction search and lookup
- PWC audit requests
Research and Support
- Handling of ad hoc payments via an internal payment platform
- Daily research and email response to Guest Service emails regarding Guests who have had issues with their purchase (note that this is internal facing, not Guest facing).
- Day to day ad hoc transaction research
Experience
Required:
- 1+ years work experience in accounting or related field
- Excellent accounting skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated excellence in MS Excel
- Familiarity with audits
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze data and correlate data attributes
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Business or Accounting preferred
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.12 to $27.04 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
