Senior Project Engineer (CEI) – Celebration, FL
Provide supervision and engineering/construction management support for Florida Department of Transportation Moving Florida Forward I‑4 projects.
Responsibilities- Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members.
- Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
- Review programs and projects for conformance with Department standards.
- Work full time at the Celebration, Florida office.
- Civil Engineering degree or related field.
- P.E. license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in major road or bridge construction and five years in major bridge construction.
- For non‑degreed personnel: registration and ten years of engineering experience, including two years in major road or bridge construction.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Prior relevant work experience in District 5.
- Preferred:
Five years of Senior Project Engineer experience with an overall ten years of related engineering experience. - Qualification:
Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination. - Certification: FDOT Advanced MOT.
