Senior Project Engineer (CEI) – Celebration, FL

Provide supervision and engineering/construction management support for Florida Department of Transportation Moving Florida Forward I‑4 projects.

• Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
• Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members.
• Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
• Review programs and projects for conformance with Department standards.
• Work full time at the Celebration, Florida office.

• Civil Engineering degree or related field.
• P.E. license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in major road or bridge construction and five years in major bridge construction.
• For non‑degreed personnel: registration and ten years of engineering experience, including two years in major road or bridge construction.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior relevant work experience in District 5.
• Preferred:
  Five years of Senior Project Engineer experience with an overall ten years of related engineering experience.
• Qualification:
  
  Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
• Certification: FDOT Advanced MOT.
