Welcome Home! The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) FP&A Finance team is currently seeking a Financial Analyst. DVC is a dynamic and complex business unit within Disney Signature Experiences. We are looking for a motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, strong technical and organizational skills, and solves problems effectively as a credible, approachable, proactive partner and trusted advisor on financial matters.
Responsibilities- Develop the monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and long‑term plan for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Club Management, Member Experience, Member Getaways and Member Benefits.
- Provide financial and decision support for clients through analysis and ad hoc requests.
- Analyze key performance metrics to understand and identify business trends, develop recommendations that will influence and drive business decisions.
- Confidently and effectively communicate with managers, team members, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Present budgets and financial results to DVC leadership.
- Communicate key analytics and financial results to key partners.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals and ad hoc expenses and/or re‑classes to ensure proper posting of financials.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline and innovate processes and outputs.
- Support DVC Capital forecast, annual capital plan, and long‑term capital plan.
- 1+ years’ experience in financial analytics, accounting, or related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare and present information to support decision making.
- Demonstrated presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines, effectively manage multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, take ownership, and work in a flexible team environment.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels within an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
