Cloud Engineer

Required Skills

• Experience working with at least two major public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms (Rancher or similar preferred).

• Up-to-date technical knowledge in Linux, Windows, virtualization, clustering, resilient infrastructure design, deployment, and automation.

• Ability to explain and compare features, benefits, and trade-offs of various cloud and virtualization platforms.

• Proven experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and related solutions.

• Experience improving provisioning and maintenance through scripting and automation.

• Broad familiarity with multi-cloud environments across several public cloud providers.

• Experience with Kubernetes management platforms (e.g., Rancher or similar).

• Experience with content delivery networks (CDNs).

• Hands-on containerization experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with load balancing solutions.

• Experience providing global, on-call enterprise-level support.

• Maintain and manage Kubernetes deployments and related configuration packages (e.g., Helm or similar tools).

• Manage and renew SSL certificates across multiple domains to ensure service continuity.

• Implement and maintain CDN configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system outages.

• Triage and address security requirements across cloud and on-premises systems.

• Develop and maintain engineering and architecture standards for on-premises and hybrid infrastructure, including compute, storage, and data protection.

• Generate regular and ad hoc system reports.

• Create and document operational procedures for ongoing support.
