Local Customer Support Technician

• Provide desktop and user support for hardware, software, and peripherals
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Resolve service desk tickets and document solutions
• Support Microsoft Windows 10+ and Microsoft Office 365 environments
• Assist with audio-visual and video conferencing setup
• Perform basic network and telephony support
• Travel between FDOT locations (25%–40%) for onsite support
• Participate in team projects, meetings, and inventory management
• Follow and enforce FDOT IT policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Education & Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 1 year of workstation hardware or IT support experience
• 1 year of customer service and technical support experience with Windows 10+ and Office 365
• Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) may substitute for 6 months of experience
• Associate Degree with at least 25% coursework in IT-related subjects

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in workstation installation, maintenance, or technical support

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, squat, crawl, and work in various weather conditions
