Job SummaryAs the Security Assessments and Investigations Manager, you will lead oversight of the Security Assessments and Equipment Program, manage Security Projects, conduct and support investigations for ships, ports, and islands, and monitor our Security Compliance Program.
Responsibilities- Acts as Deputy Company Security Officer and fulfill the duties of Company Security Officer in the event the Company Security Officer is unavailable.
- Oversee the Disney Cruise Line Security Assessments Program
- Conduct yearly Shore Vessel Security Assessments for the Fleet and Private Islands
- Oversee the Security "AMOS" program and support changes, updates, and deletions
- Liaise with Marine Technical Operations for Security Maintenance of CCTV
- Coordinate with Risk Management for CCTV support of Claims Investigations
- Interpret all emerging laws, regulations, policies and guidelines, and develop processes that verify Disney Cruise Line is prepared to comply.
- Oversee Security Special Projects
- Support the Manager of Security Operations and Investigations
- Liaise with law enforcement personnel to assist during investigations
- Coordinate with collection of and safekeeping of evidence related to criminal and non‑criminal investigations (CCTV, physical evidence)
- Assist shipboard security with acquiring and maintaining security systems access (SVAM, DCLIMS, AMOS, etc.)
- Provide investigations and DCLIMS training and oversight for shipboard and Island Security Officers
- Conduct Intel gathering and analysis derived from incidents
- Coordinate with the Training Manager to secure and provide compliance training (CVSSA, Security Awareness for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties, evidence recovery and preservation)
- Review investigation reports for accuracy, completeness and RIM compliance
- Review LOGs and SMS for updating of security policies
- Conduct research and analysis of new training topics (interview techniques, evidence photography)
- Responsible for the management of internal and external audit findings within their departments and to meet the requirements of SMS.
- Responsible for incident management and CIRs within the DCLIMS system, inclusive of response, follow up, extension or timely closure within the requirements of SMS
- SMS responsibility for implementation of general safety management responsibilities specified in the Safety Management System for areas under their control.
- +5 years or more in Investigations
- Maritime (Shipboard) security operations management experience and/or equivalent experience
- Expertise at liaising with external organizations at the highest level (to include foreign authorities)
- Significant experience with Security Assessment programs
- Experience working with multiple agencies in Law Enforcement
- Experience conducting administrative investigations
- Proficiency with security practices and security programs
- Familiar with program oversight and auditing
- Continuous‑improvement process skills
- Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting regulations, guidelines, and policies
- Experience leading a team
- Be able to construct complete and accurate reports, and instruct others to do the same
- Familiarity with maritime regulatory agencies
- Experience extracting essential facts from complex written material and using computer and presentation audio/video hardware.
- Proficiency with Milestone CCTV system
- Demonstrated proficiency with DCLIMS reporting system
- Interviewing skills
- Experience writing and speaking with executive leadership and working with confidential information
- Bachelor’s Degree of equivalent experience

PayHiring range: $83,000 to $111,200 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
