Description

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, your days will be varied and engaging. You will:

  • Be a friendly, professional point of contact for agents, insured individuals, claimants, and claims representatives—answering calls, directing inquiries, and knowing when to elevate issues.
  • Enter and manage claims including setting up files, processing mail, transcribing letters, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Take first notice of loss calls, provide claim status updates, order police reports, and process claim‑related paperwork.
  • Review basic policy coverage information and assist with claim payments.
  • Ensure accurate reporting to required agencies to help protect the company’s reputation.
  • Support month‑end accounting processes, including balancing multiple general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with improvements, testing, and updates related to claims systems and billing processes.
  • Work closely with Claims leadership and teammates to resolve issues and keep work flowing smoothly.
What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything on day one—we will train you—but the right person will bring:

  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, consistent communication style.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and staying organized in a busy environment.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and insurance concepts (or a willingness to learn).
  • Confidence using office software and standard business technology.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to help teammates when needed.
  • Reliability and regular, on‑site presence as part of a supportive team.
Education & Experience
  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • 0–5 years of insurance or related experience is helpful, but motivated entry‑level candidates are welcome.
Why You’ll Like Working Here
  • You’ll have a meaningful role supporting both Claims and Accounting teams.
  • Your work helps people during stressful situations—your accuracy and professionalism truly make a difference.
  • You’ll gain exposure to insurance operations, accounting processes, and system workflows.
  • We value teamwork, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
  • You’ll be supported with training and opportunities to grow your skills.

If you enjoy structured work, helping others, and being part of a dependable team, we’d love to hear from you.
