We are seeking an organized and motivated Guest Services Assistant to support the daily operations of our short-term rental community. This position will work closely with the management team to serve as the primary point of contact for guests ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
This is a part-time, seasonal position from approximately May through September working roughly 20-25 hours per week. We could have an April start date for training if desired.
- Guest and Tenant Relations:
Welcome guests and ensure they feel comfortable and informed upon arrival. Address guest concerns, questions, or issues quickly and effectively to ensure satisfaction. Provide a welcoming and friendly presence across the community. - Daily Operations Support:
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure units are clean, staged, and ready for arrivals. Conduct light property inspections as needed. Ensure guest amenities and supplies are stocked and organized. - Quality Control:
Proactively work to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. Encourage positive reviews. - Issue Resolution:
Assist with addressing and resolving guest complaints and maintenance requests efficiently and professionally to maintain a positive guest experience. - Administrative Tasks:
Prepare weekly reports for the Property Management team, track concerns and suggestions, maintain inventory records, and assist the Community Assistant with day-to-day tasks as needed. - Marketing Support:
Participate in social media initiatives or community events to increase engagement and visibility. - Misc.:
Other duties as assigned.
- Experience:
Previous hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred; experience with both short-term and long-term rental environments is a plus. - Skills:
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills. - Customer Focused: A proven ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail, especially for property inspections, documentation, and guest/tenant communication. - Availability:
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the summer. This position requires regular availability Thursday through Sunday to accommodate the needs of the community.
Roughly 20-25 hours per week.
- Thursday: 12-5pm
- Friday: 12-5pm
- Saturday: 11am-5pm
- Sunday: 11am-5pm
