HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We have approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations and we are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our Distribution Center Team in Celina, OH.
The HR Generalist will support 120 hourly team members and 10 exempt leaders. The role focuses on associate engagement, leadership development, and fostering a positive, high‑performance culture throughout the Distribution Center. As a trusted partner to hourly associates and front‑line leaders, the Generalist will provide guidance on performance management, talent development, policy interpretation, and will ensure consistent HR practices, fostering open communication and championing initiatives that enhance retention, inclusion, and overall associate experience.
Responsibilities- Assess gaps and opportunities for improvement of policies and processes relating to HR and recommend solutions.
- Analyze, prepare, and maintain reporting for the leadership team.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training to managers, supervisors, and employees on human resource related laws and policies.
- Research and stay abreast of current developments, amendments, and interpretational changes in laws affecting human resources and employer/employee relations; educate and train staff accordingly; make recommendations for changes to policies and procedures to maintain compliance with new developments.
- Partner with HRIS, coordinate the HR Audit process for all audits, review contracts for HR compliance, respond immediately to audit findings, and ensure new processes and policies are implemented to maintain compliance with contracts and grants.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an HR position.
- Intuition for business, partnered with a dedication to compliance and legality matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen attentively to people’s ideas and concerns.
- Analytical, diligent, and detail‑oriented.
- Outstanding project management and planning abilities.
- Ability to build effective, trusting relationships that contribute to personal and team efficiency.
- Keeps matters confidential and uses tact and courtesy while safeguarding confidentiality.

Pay Range$4,766.67 – $7,625.00 per month for salaried roles (or hourly for all other roles). This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
