Die Technician

CAPT is the North American location for Honda Foundry's world-renowned engine and frame component manufacturing. These products become part of legendary Honda automobile engines and suspension systems. True to our roots, CAPT manufactures only the highest quality engine components for Honda Motor Co., and its customers worldwide.

We are looking for Die Technicians to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain dies and tooling components
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion to help minimize downtime
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance
• Basic machine set up such as lathes, and mills
• Welding experience or willing to learn
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 2nd / 3rd shift
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Prior use of precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Experience working with CNC Mills and 3D models is a plus
