Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.

• Communicate and collaborate across all levels on store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
• Introduce and lead company change efforts, set clear expectations, and implement business solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way OBW service model and manage customer service initiatives, community outreach, and complaint resolution.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, and recognize achievements.
• Coordinate job-related activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Open Door Policy, ethics, and integrity.

• 2 years of college, OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For firearms facilities: successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For ammunition-only facilities with state requirements: current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• Must complete all required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
