Position Overview

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – PAID TRAINING PROVIDED – JOB SECURITY. The Postal Service is the largest government-related agency in terms of employees, currently employing nearly 1 million people. There is no experience required for many positions; paid training is provided for all job openings, with starting salaries ranging from $26.47 to $43.62 per hour and an average annual pay of $72,400 with full benefits.

Mail Processor – Performs a variety of functions to accomplish the processing of mail. Functions may include the sorting and handling of mail and preparing mail for shipment to the next destination.

To qualify for employment, you must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or a GED (no college required), and be a U.S. citizen (or have a Green Card).
